RusStudy vs. the Study-in-Russia Agency Market: 2026 Technical Benchmark
We had a technical benchmark carried out comparing russieetudes.com to 9 agencies active in the Tunisia-Russia market for orientation toward Russia, using the same methodology as our previously published self-audit. Unlike that self-audit, this study compares our site to real competitors: we are therefore publishing the results with competitors anonymized and their screenshots blurred.
Why anonymize the competitors?
The data in this benchmark is real: each site was loaded and measured under the same technical conditions. But publicly naming competitors and showing their pages in a bad light amounts to comparative advertising, which is strictly regulated by law — even when the facts are accurate. We therefore chose to:
- never name or link to any competitor;
- systematically blur their screenshots;
- generalize any observation specific enough to indirectly identify them.
Only the results concerning our own site (russieetudes.com) are shown unblurred, since it is our own platform.
Methodology
10 sites were tested under the same conditions: automated rendering (Chromium browser, desktop version 1440×900), extraction of each page's code (titles, meta tags, structured data, declared language, image alt text, console errors) and a load-time measurement via the browser's Performance API (server response time TTFB, first render FCP).
8 criteria were scored out of 10 for each site: design, measured speed, technical SEO, verifiable social proof, real multilingual support, technical reliability, content depth and Russia specialization.

What this benchmark tells us
RusStudy finishes first in this comparison against 9 competitors, driven notably by loading speed, content depth and exclusive specialization in Russia. The main gap with the market remains verifiable social proof (customer reviews, visible accreditations): this is the priority area identified for the site’s next improvements.
This study will be renewed regularly, with the same methodology, to track the market’s evolution.
