Technical Audit of RussieEtudes.com: Performance, SEO and Accessibility (July 2026)
A fast, accessible and well-structured website doesn't guarantee the quality of support on its own, but it reflects attention paid to the experience of future students who visit it. Here we publish the results of our own technical audit of russieetudes.com, carried out with standard professional tools. This assessment does not compare our platform to other agencies: it only measures the technical quality of our own site, transparently.
Why publish this audit?
The website is often the first point of contact between a future student and RusStudy. We chose to make this self-assessment public for two reasons:
- out of transparency, documenting the real state of our platform rather than general claims;
- to track our technical progress over time — a previous audit allowed us to identify and fix several issues.
A previous audit had notably revealed a default-language issue (English displayed before French) and a broken /fr URL. Both have since been fixed.
Methodology
The audit is based on an automated rendering of the site (Chromium browser, desktop version 1440×900 and mobile 390×844), an extraction of the page code (titles, meta tags, Open Graph, structured data, declared language, image alt text, console errors) and a load-time measurement via the browser's Performance API (server response time TTFB and first render FCP).
These criteria can be verified with standard professional tools used daily by web developers.
Performance results
Across most of the visits tested, the site shows:
- a server response time (TTFB) between 150 and 350 ms;
- a first render (First Contentful Paint) between 470 and 790 ms;
- no errors detected in the browser console.
One caveat: the very first load after a long period of inactivity (cold server cache) remains slower — about 3.6 seconds observed once out of eight attempts. This is normal for this type of hosting and has no impact on a site receiving regular traffic.
Content and SEO
Extracting the page code shows:
- 2,475 words of real content (programs, fees, FAQ, presentation);
- correctly configured Open Graph tags, structured data and a canonical tag;
- a consistent heading hierarchy;
- a complete favicon set.
This technical foundation makes it easier for search engines to understand the site.
Multilingual support
The site is available in French, English, Arabic and Russian. Across all the visits tested, French displays by default at the site's root (russieetudes.com/), with no special browser configuration, and the /fr, /ar and /ru versions all respond correctly.
Identified areas for improvement
This audit remains honest about what can still be improved. The main issue identified is the lack of verifiable social proof displayed directly on the site (authenticated customer reviews, a visible official accreditation number): today, only figures declared by RusStudy appear on the site, without a third-party verification mechanism built into the page.
This is the priority area identified for the site's next improvements.
